Photo Gallery> On 02 Oct 2025, Embassy of India celebrated the Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti at the Mahatma Gandhi Statue at the Mahatma Gandhi Street in Ulaanbaatar with great enthusiasm. In his remarks, Ambassador HE Mr Atul Malhari Gotsurve mentioned about the role of Gandhiji in India's freedom struggle, khadi promotion, village industries etc. He also mentioned about the Swacch Bharat Mission and the birth anniversary of #LalBahadurShastri. He conveyed his greetings on the auspicious occasion of #VijayaDashmi #Dusshera. The Chief Guest of the event, the 3rd President of Mongolia HE Mr N Enkhbayar mentioned about the importance of Gandhiji's Talisman to look at the face of the poorest of poor while taking any important decision by the holders of high office and the importance of Non Violence in today's world. The event commenced with floral tributes to the Statue. Students of Rajeev Gandhi Polytechnic, Hindi students, Indian Diaspora, Embassy staff, Former Ambassador HE Mr O Nyamdava, senior monks from Pethub, Dashicholing and Gandan Monastery and Friends of India were present at the event. The monks chanted holy mantras and the Hindi students recited two songs #RaghupathiRaghavRajaRam and #Vaishnavjan
