On 09 Dec 2025, HE Mr Atul Malhari Gotsurve, Ambassador of India to Mongolia participated in the National Workshop on "Building Infrastructure Resilience" at Tushiin Hotel, Ulaanbaatar. The Workshop is jointly organized by Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) айдлын ерөнхий газар of Mongolia .The Chief of NEMA Maj Gen G. Ariunbuyan was also present. In his remarks, Ambassador stated that Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi conceptualized and Championed the formation of Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI). He also said that India and Mongolia have meaningful partnership in the field of Disaster Management and Administrative. He informed that recent MOU on Humanitarian Aid and Assistance signed during the historic State visit of President of Mongolia to India in Oct 2025 is an important step in further strengthening the Disaster Relief Cooperation. He suggested utilising the Government of India's fully funded Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation - ITEC Scholarship Programme for the capacity building of NEMA
