    On 02 June 2026, HE Mr L Enkh-Amgalan, Minister of Education of Mongolia hosted a dinner for the delegation led by Hon'ble Governor of Assam, Mr Lakshman Prasad Acharya which brought the Holy Relics of Lord Buddha's two Chief Disciples Arahant Sariputra and Arahant Maudgalyayana to Mongolia for exposition at the Gandantegchenling Monastery. Both dignitaries discussed various issues of mutual cooperation. HE Mr N Enkhbayar, former President of Mongolia, HE Mr Atul Malhari Gotsurve, Ambassador of India to Mongolia, venerable monks and Senior officials from India and Mongolia were present at the event.
