    On 03 June 2026, the Indian delegation to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, led by the Hon'ble Governor of Assam, Mr Lakshman Prasad Acharya which brought the Holy Relics of Lord Buddha's two Chief Disciples Arahant Sariputra and Arahant Maudgalyayana to Mongolia for exposition at the Gandantegchenling Monastery departed on a Special Indian Force Flight to India. The Holy Relics of Arahant Sariputra and Arahant Maudgalyayana will remain on public display at the Gandan Monastery, Ulaanbaatar till 09 June 2026. The delegation thanked the Embassy of India for all the support.
