    On 09 June 2026, the Nalanda University of India and the National University of Mongolia (NUM) signed a MOU for Cooperation at the NUM. This has initiated a formal mechanism for collaboration in the field of education between the two prestigious institutes. The MOU was signed by Prof Sachin Chaturvedi VC of the Nalanda University and Professor Baatarchuluun Tsermaa, Vice President for Research and Cooperation, NUM.
